#Epilogue
In the course of over a month, I ended up cycling in seven countries (chronologically Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania). As mentioned, this was not the greatest ride ever, but I still enjoyed it, the highlights having been the wonderful cities and quaint towns I visited, the Masurian Lake District and the Curosian Spit. A special mention goes to Warsaw and Vilnius - and even though having visited it a number of times, I sure want to return to Krakow. On this trip, except for a few exceptions (such as the gentleman in Muzyna), there were no major "encounters of the third kind". While the cities in Lithuania are great, I am not a big fan of flat terrain - so will aim for places with more hills and mountains on my next ride.
So, as always, let us do some statistics.

The statistic show that I made a total of some 2,600 kilometers, with close to 19,000 meters of elevation. Altogether, my adventure was 33 days long, out of these, I counted 25 riding days. This means my riding average was just around 100 kilometers a day, with just above 700 meters of elevation - not too bad, not too good.
So, signing off for now!!
