July 27 - Are we there yet? Nyet!

With the whiskey and vodka in my system, I dozed off around 2 am in my tent and woke up with quite a messy feeling. The breakfast definately helped, I drank a lot of yoghurt, and will probably get some more sleep. I have been told (in secret) that the arrival time is supposed to be only between 3 am and 6 am the following day, which is over 24 hours delay compared to the original schedule. Oh well, let it be, to stay with some Beatles.

The one downside is that I have not been able to communicate since we left the Romanian waters, I feel a bit strange being without internet and phone connection, cannot remember the last time I was without these for so long (which by now is over a day - hey, we are in the 21st century). It's a bit of mistery why they do not have internet, if I can have it flying 10,000 meters above the Atlantic ocean, why not on the waters of the Black Sea?

OK, one more thing - while the toilette in the cabin is nice and clean, there are no 'public' toilettes on the ship, actually, there are some, but they are closed. So each time there is an urge, you have to get your keys, walk through a bit of a labirinth of galleys and then all the way back. Oh well, we have ample time. I boarded this ferry on the evening of the 24th, now it's the afternoon of the 27th and we are still a few hundred kilometers away. My enthusiasm for the sea journey is still there, but now I am just as much excited to get off this vessel. Oh, and we saw some more dolphins racing with the ship, they were really cute!
