Day 12 - March 2nd - Back to Tel Aviv
The next morning, my relatives brought me to the bus station in Kyriat Shemona, and I was again riding a bus, back to Tel Aviv. My flight was in the evening, so I left my luggage at the bus station and went to discover the city.
Here I quickly ended up on the beach - and while no-one was swimming (it wa, afterall, just March 2nd), I did go in for a longer dip - shorter than a swim, longer than just a dip. It was chilly, but not unpleasant. A girl from Italy, called Francesca, took care of my stuff - she was traveling all by herself and just got back from Petra in Jordan. We struck up a conversation.
Then it was time for me to leave for the airport. On the way to get my things for the locker, I checked if I could fly out the following day - yup, this change was for free - so I yet again moved the departure date out - and found an OK place to stay via AirBnB (for €80, close to the beach). I only had a small back-pack, so I started discovering the city.
I walked a lot, basically form the afternoon to the middle of the night and enjoyed seeing this bustling city. I even rented a city bike - it was fun getting around the famous boulevards. I was a bit angry at myself for not having gotten the contact from Francesca, it would have been nice to stroll the city together.
