Without any remorse of leaving early from the glorious Caesar´s Palace, I packed my bags and went for a last swim. Back in my apartment, had bought fruits for an additional one of two days, so I prepared a delicious vitamin bomb for breakfast, processing my remaining fruits.

Ella had found one more monastery to visit - called St. Barnabas, it was just 15 kilometers or so away.

We checked out around 4 pm and left for the ferry, planning in plenty of margin. We touched the outskirts of Nicosia, where for a brief period of time my cellphone changed to the EU network...but we were definitely in Turkish Cyprus, as the gigantic mosque showed.

We reached the ferry terminal around 5:30 pm, with departure being only at 11 pm, the check-in went super quick, as practically no one was there yet. So we had several hours to kill, as the passport control opened up only at 9 pm. We went to a café, one we had visited right after our arrival to Cyprus. I asked Ella if she wanted to walk, she preferred staying at the café, so I walked in town - there was nothing really notable about it.
We went back to the port, we were told the booth would open at 9 pm, it opened right that minute (surprise, surprise) and we were amongst the first ones to go through the controls, took but few minutes. We rode to the ferry, where now we had to wait patiently for boarding to begin.
We expected to have a similar experience, riding up an elevator, no, this time we had to descend a very narrow ramp to the belly of the ship - so for Ella, sleeping in the car was not an option. I went straight to "my" private saloon, pitched my tent at the exact same spot, for whatever reason, Ella remained in the cramped main passenger room. This time the word "private" was a bit, but just a bit, of a misnomer, as three or four people also discovered this somewhat hidden space, but then we had plenty of room to share.
This time, the ferry left pretty much on time, just about an hour delayed, I believe it was around midnight that we pulled out. Good-bye Cyprus - it was interesting, but not the most exciting places I have ever seen.
