With roughly 450 kilometers to go, we left early after a very modest breakfast. It was a freezing morning, literally, the temperature was below the 0 C mark. The sun, however, was shining - and we had again wonderful views. It was often a lunar/martian landsxape that I enjoy - and Google led us on some really minor roads over the mountains. My biking heart was aching - had I had my bike there, Had I had my bike with me, I would have gotten out and biked the rest of the way...well, maybe...it stayed pretty darn cold in the mountains, the temperature creeping hardly over 5 degrees even during the day.

Only at the apartment did I start researching the ferries and noticed there would be one from Poti the following day, departing at 11 am, arriving to Burgas in Bulgaria two days later..It was not cheap, €200, but for that price, you get a cabin and meals 3 times a day. It seemed like a perfect option, and I tried contacting the 24h non-stop line. They did not answer, everything else would have surprised me, but talking about surprises, they called back a few minutes later and a person with perfect English confirmed the sailing the following day and gave me a WhatsApp number to dial.

I tried, no answer, so I decided to go to sleep and wake up early, so that I could catch the boat. That is the story of the following day, so now I shall stop.
