Day 6 – June 4, 2025

I packed my tent still in the dark and headed to the station. I was a bit disappointed to see a MÁV-Start railway carriage - and you will understand why.

Well, the 350 kilometers from Llubljana to Budapest were covered in around 8 hours - heading to Celje, Maribor, Graz (did you do your homeworks, do any of these cities resonate??), then over to Hungary, where we stopped at every tree.

Worse, close to none of the toilets worked - and in the one or two that did, it was close to impossible to get the door to open - or to close. Needless to say, there was no running water, so nothing to flush with. It was quite interesting to watch how the people formed a united form against the two conductors, who tried to come up with some solution to the "flowing problems" of the passengers.

It seemed like an eternity by the time we reached Budapest - it was around 2 pm - allowing enough time to clean up and rest before my important business meeting that evening.

Well, folks, there you go, this is how my quick trip ended.
