March 26 - DMZ

A lot of riding that day, part of it still on the HCM Trail - I made 180 kilometers and got to Hue. At the same time, not the most memorable of all of my riding - here are some of the impressions.

The road led through pretty much the middle of country, through the Demilitarized Zone between the former North and South Vietnam. Despite the name, this was the site of the most bitter fighting - there was a large military cemetery with some 10,000 tombs.

In Hue, I found a good hotel and that was it for this day.
