April 2 - My Tummy...
Unknown to me was the fact that the town of Phu Phong hosted a large museum of Quang Trung, an emperor and military commander, I bumped into it early in the morning, even before 7 am. The caretaker still let me ride in, I took a few pictures.

I was soon on my way, riding along rice fields, being skirted by pretty mountains.

Not far from town, I headed for three large Cham towers, soon, I spotted these through the dense vegetation. Unfortunately, it being a Monday, it was not possible to actually visit the towers.

I then rode through a small village, where I made a large mistake: I had delicious pancakes for breakfast, but had far too many of them. Some 8 pieces were served and they asked me if I wanted one more. I said yes, and though to receive the 9th one, instead, I was served 8 more pieces - for whatever reason I felt compelled eating all. That did it - my tummy started hurting soon after that for the rest of that day and even the beginning of the following one.
The rest of the day was quite a tough going. I found one more Chum tower, this one was open for visit, one had to climb up to the top of a mountain, my overfilled tummy, in combination with the heat, did me in. I made it to the top and had to sit down for ten minutes or so.

...real close...
Coming down from the hill, I got some coordinates of where I really was and what lay ahead of me.
Hanoi was quite far...but HCM City not much closer, either...
Now the road was going right next to the ocean. I really wasn't feeling all too well, despite the pretty views. I again had to lie down, I felt nauseous. I came across a campground called, appropriately, "Life is a beach", I entered it - there were lots of Caucasians chilling, sipping their beer, relaxing in hammock or playing pool. I asked if I could pitch my tent, it would have been for free, but I decided not to stay, as they had no Wifi. I rode on, having to do fight with my belly, till I found a motel. That day I rode for some 100 kilometers.
