Epilogue

This six-week journey was quite a ride - with many, many ups (in the broad sense of the word...) and of course some not so exciting or outright boring spots. Overall, I would like to make a homage to France. As I kept stressing in this blog, I was really impressed about the natural and cultural beauty of this country. The real surprise, though, were the polite, welcoming and supportive French-language speakers were, who treated me with respect, some even hosting me at their homes. Merci a tous!

There are plenty of places that I just browsed through and there are quite a few jewels I rode by, without visiting them. Needless to say, large portions of this country were left undiscovered, therefore I am looking forward to returning to this country soon.
